The Annual Meeting is a unique opportunity for information exchange and progress on the GCF’s REDD-related objectives. A provisional agenda is available and will be updated regularly. The meeting will include: a high-level session with remarks from governmental and inter-governmental organization representatives; 2011 REDD progress reports from each of the GCF states and provinces; updates on major GCF developments including the GCF REDD+ Knowledge Database and the GCF Fund; and facilitated breakout sessions on high priority topics including alignment of national and subnational REDD policies and environmental and social safeguards that will result in recommendations for GCF action.
