The meeting will bring together experts in tropical woodland ecology, carbon sequestration projects, policy makers and investors, to discuss current issues and share knowledge.
The primary outcome of this working meeting will be the production of a report. This report will be submitted to major international funders and organisations as a guidance document for setting up and managing sequestration projects in tropical woodlands. The report will be discussed and developed in detail during the meeting, and all delegates are invited to contribute to the report.
