The emphasis of this 6th International ESP conference will be on the practical application of the ecosystem services concept in planning, management and decision making, and the development of case studies.

Program
Like the previous ESP-conferences, the program will consist of a mix of plenary sessions, workshops (organized by the ESP-working groups), Open Topic sessions (proposed and organized by all participants) and Special Sessions devoted to specific topics proposed by the co-organizers, ESP partner organisations and sponsors.
The conference is scheduled for 4.5 days (Monday-midday – Friday-afternoon) with a mid-term excursion to experience Ecosystem Services in practice at one of the ICRAF-CGIAR field sites.
