The Ecosystem Marketplace's Mitigation Mail
Conservation and Wetland News You Can Bank On
The Ecosystem Marketplace would like to let all of you know about a couple of interesting events this week. The 10th National Mitigation & Conservation Banking (NMCB) Conference kicks off in St. Louis, Missouri tomorrow (April 10-13), and the USDA is hosting a discussion (pdf) about market-based conservation in the 2007 Farm Bill proposal in New York City on April 12, 2007. Mark Rey, USDA Undersecretary for Natural Resources and the Environment, will be joined by national business leaders with a stake in the environmental future of America.
Can't make these events? Don't worry. The Ecosystem Marketplace will be in both St. Louis and New York City to bring you the latest on the future of market-based conservation in the U.S. You can find our daily NMCB conference coverage at www.ecosystemmarketplace.com and we will post a feature with an in-depth look at the Farm Bill next week.
