We want to be the first to put the proposed regulations in your hands. The new rule, Compensatory Mitigation for Loss of Aquatic Resources, was announced yesterday by the U.S Environmental Protection Agency and U.S Army Corps of Engineers. The proposed regulations, intended to strengthen wetland mitigation under the Clean Water Act Section 404 program, were posted today on the EPA website. If approved, the regulations will enhance the market for wetland mitigation credit trading.
